The Tiger Encounter

Fun & Thrilling

The educational show is held to raise awareness of the plight of the tiger and the speed at which they are becoming extinct in the wild. Felicia Frisco, the youngest female tiger trainer in the U.S., will be showing the bond the tigers have with her. She will be also be demonstrating how the animals are trained and a series of natural behaviors using positive reinforcements.

This year the Greater Pee Dee State Fair will be hosting a local entertainment stage! The acts will be performing at various times during the Fair. Stop by and catch a performance from one of the local acts!

Pleasant Valley Farms Petting Zoo

Interactive & Educational Petting Zoo

Lisa and Russell Evans fell in love with animals many years ago, even before their marriage that has two children who are even more animal overs than their parents. What started as have a few domestic animals to pet on their small farm near Hartsville, has become quite an operation with more than 100 domestic and exotic animals. Pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, squirrels, horses, ponies, and donkeys were the first animals to find the Evans farm. Now renamed Pleasant Valley Stables, Lisa, Russell and children now have many exotic animals that domicile with their domestic counterparts. Zebras, a wallaby, a hyacinth Macaw, pot belly pigs, and porcupines are just a few of the exotic animals at the Pleasant Valley Stabes.

FARM-ily FEUD Game Show

Fun & Educational

Agricultural education becomes fun and entertaining. Teams are pitted against each other to test their knowledge of farming, farm animals and what comes from a farm, combined with silly skill games to declare the top farmer.

Survivor Family Game Show

Who will be the Ultimate Survivor?

"Survivor" meets "Gilligan's Island" in this fun and interactive event. The game show combines silly challenges along with audience participation and popular TV show themes to see who will be the ultimate survivor. Be there to cast your vote and help the audience decide the final winner!

Too many tasty items to list! The Greater Pee Dee State Fair will have all your favorite fair foods and carnival snacks to indulge. No outside food & beverage permitted.
